Three New ‘HeartGold’ and ‘SoulSilver’ Trailers

Three new trailers for HeartGold and SoulSilver are available to people who have Japanese Wii consoles, and someone on YouTube has kindly put them together into one video and uploaded them. The first trailer reveals the cut-shot of Ho-Oh’s perch, the Break Block Pokethlon game, Gym Leader Jasmine’s sprite, the interior of Violet City Gym, and a double battle against Entei and Raikou. The second trailer features impressive commercial CGI of Lugia, its three Legendary Birds, Ho-Oh, and its three Legendary Beasts. It reveals that headbutt trees return in the two remakes, as an Entei is seen ramming one, and then shows Suicune’s previously unseen sprite in a double battle. The final trailer begins with new CGI of the Johto starters and Pichu, then shows a wild Suicune in Kanto. The trailer also reveals that Munchlax, despite being a Diamond and Pearl Pokemon, can be captured on the PokeWalker. You can watch all three trailers in the video below.

Platinum Darkrai Event

The official Pokemon Platinum website has revealed that the Member Card item will be made available to those with the Platinum Version. Starting August 3rd, trainers can connect to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection through Mystery Gift and download the Member Card into their Platinum Version. The Member Card will allow you to enter the Harbor Inn at Canalave City and sail to Newmoon Island, where you'll be able to find and catch Darkrai. This is the only way to catch Darkrai within the game. It isn't specified, but this may be available only to North American versions of the Platinum Version. Below are the steps you need to take to get to Newmoon Island and Darkrai.

1.If you haven't done so, activate the Mystery Gift feature on your game by talking to the TV Producer on the third floor of the Jubilife TV building. He'll ask you two questions, and you must answer with the following in the exact order. First, answer "Everyone Happy". Second, answer "Wi-Fi Connection". Once you save the game and view the opening menu, you'll see MYSTERY GIFT has been added.

2.To download the Member Card, just select MYSTERY GIFT, then select RECEIVE GIFT, and then select GET VIA NINTENDO WFC. Choose YES to receive the Member Card.

3.Go to any Poke Mart and talk to the delivery man in front of the counter to add the Member Card to your Key Items.

4.However, this alone won't get you to Newmoon Island. First, you'll need to have defeated the Elite Four and received the National Pokedex from Professor Rowan.

5.Save Sailor Eldritch's sick son in Canalave City by sailing to Fullmoon Island and bringing back the Lunar Wing item Cresselia leaves behind after fleeing.

6.Once Eldritch's son is saved, he'll be happy to take you to Newmoon Island from the Harbor Inn.

7.Find and catch Darkrai

Nintendo Confirms Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky Release Date

Nintendo confirmed the release date of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. This next Pokemon Nintendo DS game will be released on October 12, 2009.

Details from Nintendo:
"Play as one of 19 different Pokémon including five additional starter Pokémon that have been added to the roster of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. There are more than 490 Pokémon to interact with in this immersive role-playing adventure that is engaging for longtime fans and series newcomers. Players assume the role of a Pokémon and team up with a partner Pokémon to save the world from destruction. The game also includes new “Special Episodes” that reveal secrets about certain characters in the Mystery Dungeon world. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky also includes enhanced communication features where Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi owners can trade in-game items and share a demo dungeon with friends through the local wireless communication. Players with wireless broadband Internet access can use Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection to find special missions and rescue fallen friends."

Japan has six Pokemon centers which sell only Pokemon merchandise. New York city use to have one but they turned it into Nintendo World.

This is a giant Shadow Lugia card I bought on eBay for $25.I thought it was a normal small card that you can play with.Turns out its giant and its not for play.

12th Movie Record

The 12th Pokémon movie, roughly translated as Arceus: To The Conquering of Space-Time, set a record for being the most pre-sold animated movie ever. The film sold an amazing 2,384,198 pre-ordered tickets before its July 18th opening in Japan.

I went to Super Walmart today and in the claw machine they had a Buneary and Buizel.Of course I tried a lot of times to get them and I finally got both!

Heart Gold and Silver Soul

The new games are set to release in Japan on September,12,2009.There is no release date yet for North America.

Preorders started on July 4 in Japan for HeartGold and SoulSilver. If you preorder HeartGold you get a Ho-oh figure. If you preorder SoulSilver you get a Lugia figure. If preorder both versions, you get an Arceus figure along with the two others. The games are set for release on September 12th, 2009 in Japan. Details have not yet emerged about releases in USA.
